Dr. Alan Meyer

Dr. Alan Meyer completed his studies at Palmer College of Chiropractic and joined Integrative Health and Rehabilitation in September of 2015. With a Doctor of Chiropractic Degree earned in 1996, he has devoted the past two decades to serving his local community, a commitment sparked by a life-altering experience during his teenage years.

At the age of 15, Dr. Alan underwent a profound transformation under Chiropractic care, transitioning from crawling into an office to walking out with newfound strength. This pivotal moment cemented his decision to pursue Chiropractic as his lifelong vocation: “I knew that day that if I was going to be a professional, then a Chiropractor was the only logical choice! It was a life-changing event.”

Central to Dr. Alan’s philosophy is the belief in the human body’s incredible restorative power, which he witnesses through numerous healing stories and recoveries. He perceives himself as a facilitator of this innate capacity, guiding each adjustment with the understanding that it contributes to individuals’ journey towards self-healing. Dr. Alan’s dedication to his craft has been recognized with the Gonstead Lifetime Achievement Award, reflecting his commitment to providing precise yet gentle care to his patients.

Outside his practice, Dr. Alan is fervent about educating the community on the advantages of Chiropractic care. He adeptly shares his expertise as a compelling speaker and educator across diverse civic and professional groups. His extensive experience spans a wide spectrum of patients, addressing various symptoms and conditions—from migraines, back pain, and arthritis to sciatica and more.

When not at Integrative Health and Rehabilitation in Lakeside, CO, Dr. Alan immerses himself in outdoor pursuits, indulging in activities such as hiking, golf, skiing, and enjoying leisurely rides on his motorcycle.
